I have an application that generates timeline posts with the Feed Dialog. That is, a user can share a post on his timeline where most of the items in the post (title etc.) are determined by my application and the user doesn't have to grant the application any permissions. When the process is done I get a post_id from Facebook. Now what I want to do is follow how many likes the post got. So I figured that since the post was created by my application, even though the user didn't grant me any permissions, I can do something like https://graph.facebook.com/POST_ID/likes to get the number of likes. But that doesn't seem to be possible because of permissions.
Is there any way I can get the number of likes despite this? I would assume since the post was created with my application I should have some access to the data.
